Hello! My name is Tait, a passionate graduate student at the University of Waterloo, pursuing a Master of Science in Health.
Currently, I'm immersed in the exciting journey of completing my final thesis research, delving deep into the realm of health sciences.
My academic journey began at the University of Guelph, where I graduated in 2019 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, coupled with a minor in Ethics in Life Sciences.
Along the way, I successfully tackled the LSAT, a testament to my dedication and analytical skills. I coached and competed in undergraduate pre-law mooting competitions, and fought my way to serve as the University of Guelphs Pre-Law Society President.
Throughout my academic career, I've actively contributed to the education of others. I've had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Assistant for third and fourth-year level undergraduate health courses. This experience allowed me to nurture the growth of aspiring students, fostering their intellectual development.
In addition to my teaching role, I've also been a dedicated Research Assistant. My commitment to research extends beyond the classroom, as I've also undertaken field research in the beautiful province of British Columbia. This firsthand experience in the field has enriched my understanding of academic data collection and added depth to my academic pursuits.
My mission is to empower and counsel students to reach their highest potential. I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking one's true capabilities, and I'm dedicated to guiding individuals on their academic journey.
